SF Pride will lead off this Sunday’s parade with our annual Board Resistance Contingent that brings together activists and organizations fighting to overcome the equality and violence issues our community continues to face.
The overturn of Roe v. Wade has amplified the tight connection between LGBTQ+ rights and issues of reproductive health, and we are proud to announce we will be joining forces this year with Women’s March SF to lead the contingent. Women’s March SF has long been the standard bearer in our city for issues of reproductive justice and make for a natural fit to stand together with us in the fight for equality overall. The parade will be led by leaders from both organizations and will focus on the solidarity in our community on matters of reproductive rights, right alongside all of us fighting the anti-Trans and anti-LGBTQ+ laws we are seeing promoted across the country. Ultimately, we believe love will keep us together.
Come march with us and the SF Pride Resistance Contingent leading the Pride Parade on Sunday June 26th at 10 AM. You must register to march with us
We are meeting at Steuart St between Mission St and Howard St. We will be in section G2. There are no Cars, Bikes or scooters allowed in the Resistance Contingent; this is a Walking contingent.
